Shows for the second half of the semester:
10/31 -- Ra Ra Riot, The Hi-Tone (Memphis)
11/11 -- Ben Kweller & Benjy Davis Project, Rhodes College (Memphis)
11/14 -- The Pixies, The Orpheum Theatre (Memphis)
11/25 -- Tommy & The High Pilots, The Firebird (St. Louis)
and I wish I could make it home for A Very Ludo Christmas at The Pageant on 12/10, but finals win this one.
Any other recommendations?

Death Cab For Cutie
October 5, Memphis (Mud Island Ampitheater)
Although sometimes it felt like the Ben Gibbard show, Death Cab still put on quite a performance. Highlights include melding St. Peter's Cathedral into the end of a song which I can't recall, I Will Follow You Into the Dark with just Gibbard and his acoustic guitar, and Ben dueling Jason McGerr on the drums for We Looked Like Giants. I'm now even more completely in love with that song. It will not get out of my head. My only wish is that they had played Bixby Canyon Bridge...it would be so great live.
